AelfrynEVANSOf Castle View, Bridgend Aelfryn Evans passed away peacefully after a short illness on 4th July 2018 at Princess Of Wales Hospital, Bridgend. He was a second World War veteran, a much respected head teacher (Sir Evans) of Ty Newydd Junior School, Ogmore Vale, avid allotment/tomato grower, a man of faith, a great friend to many and beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to have known him. A Service will be held at Litchard Mission at 9.30am on Friday 20th July 2018 followed by a committal service at Coychurch Crematorium at 10.30am. Refreshments will be provided at Coity Community Centre afterwards. Family flowers only but donations kindly accepted to Velindre Hospital / Veterans Association UK.
